he Foundation has opened a Teen Division to help at-risk youths.Many kids today are adrift, caught in a dwindling spiral of drugs, illiteracy and a lack of self-respect that irreparably harms their future. Failures in school and education contribute to crime and violence on the streets and even in the finest of neighborhoods.

Young adults substitute gang membership for a moral code. The United States has the highest per capita prison rate in the world. It has doubled from one million to over two million inmates in the last twenty years. An ever growing percentage of our prison population consists of juveniles.

Cherish the Children Foundation delivers a successful educational program to a variety of different youth organizations. Each of the three courses in the program takes three to four weeks to complete based on a schedule of a few hours' study several days a week. In addition, our volunteer staff delivers one-on-one tutoring to program participants, providing them with important tools to overcome the barriers to a successful, happy life.
